Vanessa L. Moore holds a degree in English and German Philology and a Master's in Human Resources. Her career at the school has been marked by a strong commitment to education and the development of students, taking on various leadership roles over the years.
Starting as Head of Languages, her vocation and leadership skills led her to coordinate the Secondary and later the Sixth Form stages. Her ability to lead teams and her educational vision earned her the role of Deputy Head, where she worked closely on the continuous improvement of the school’s educational project.
Now, as Head of School, Vanessa continues to drive academic excellence and the holistic development of students, ensuring the school remains a benchmark in education. Her experience, passion for teaching and focus on educational innovation form the foundation of her leadership, always aiming to offer the best preparation for each student's future.
José Luis is a Computer Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in education, always connected to innovation and technology. Passionate about learning and its evolution, he has witnessed the growth of the school from its early days, actively contributing to its development.
Committed to continuous improvement, he stays updated on the latest trends in education and technology. His work focuses not only on applying artificial intelligence and other advances in the school setting, but also on training teachers and students to enhance their skills in a constantly evolving digital world.
For José Luis, education is a gateway to the future, and his goal is to keep promoting dynamic, accessible learning adapted to today’s societal challenges.
With more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, she has dedicated herself with passion and commitment to the development and wellbeing of young children. As a specialist in Early Years Education, she has worked tirelessly to create safe, stimulating learning environments where every child can reach their full potential.
Throughout her career, she has adapted to constant changes in education, keeping up to date with new methodologies and pedagogical approaches. Her commitment to continuous improvement and innovation has enabled her to implement effective, tailored teaching strategies for each group of students.
Her passion for teaching is reflected in her daily work, always seeking to foster curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. She believes that early childhood education lays the foundation for the future, and she puts her heart into every class to inspire and guide children towards growth and independence.
She is convinced that education is a constantly evolving journey and takes pride in being part of this rewarding path.
Holds a degree in English Philology with over 24 years of experience in language teaching. She enjoys engaging with students, understanding how they feel and ensuring they thrive in a safe and motivating learning environment.
In addition to her teaching role, she is responsible for health, safety and safeguarding at the school, protecting the wellbeing of the entire educational community. Her passion for education goes hand in hand with her love of reading, one of her greatest interests during her free time.
Holds a degree in Philosophy and Humanities specialising in Hispanic Philology, with a strong passion for Linguistics and Communication. With extensive experience in education and international programmes, he is the Middle Years Programme Coordinator for the IB and has also trained in Language Philosophy, Humanities, Literature, Poetry and Culture.
His vocation and interest lie in inspiring and motivating students, while fostering a positive environment of trust and connection among pupils, families and teachers.
Maite is passionate about education and her students, whom she has accompanied throughout her 22 years of teaching at the school, becoming an active part of its community and developing a profound sense of belonging.
Holding a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Navarra, she has made teaching her true vocation, sharing her love for Language and Literature and guiding her students to discover and develop their talents. Her goal is to inspire, motivate and encourage them to take an active role in their own learning journey, helping them grow both academically and personally.
As a teacher and coordinator of the IB Baccalaureate and Diploma Programme for the past six years, she has become a key figure within the school, committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of her students. Loyal to IB values, she works to instil them in her pupils, promoting reflection, curiosity and personal growth. Her dedication has helped strengthen the school’s educational project, making it a place where knowledge and values walk hand in hand.
Ángel García has headed our Finance Department since its inception more than 25 years ago. A strategist with uncompromising financial rigor, he built the budgeting, treasury, and internal-control frameworks that underpin our fiscal strength today. Under his leadership we have navigated expansion phases, economic downturns, and restructurings while preserving a healthy balance sheet, strong liquidity, and virtually zero bad debt. Ángel’s rare ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights empowers fast, well-informed decisions across the organization.
For more than a decade, Pilar Vergara has led the Admissions Department and welcomes each new family. Her closeness, empathy and professionalism make each admission process unique, taking care of every detail to ensure a close and personalized experience.
Her deep knowledge of the school and her listening skills allow her to accompany families with sensitivity, resolving doubts and building trust. In addition, she maintains a constant attention to the current families, strengthening bonds and facilitating integration.
From the first contact to the follow-up, she uses specialized admissions management tools, coordinates interviews, organizes personalized visits and leads school tours, designed to show in an experiential way the day-to-day life of the school and the strengths of our educational project.
With clear, close and empathetic communication, she transmits the pedagogical model with rigor and sensitivity, resolving doubts and offering constant support throughout the decision process.
With more than ten years of experience in communication and digital marketing, Aína specializes in educational marketing and brand development. Since 2017 she leads the positioning strategy of El Altillo International School, aligning every action with the values of our educational project.
She has worked in graphic design, content management, corporate communication and customer service, which allows her to bring a comprehensive and strategic vision. Her approach combines aesthetic sensitivity, creativity and a solid technical base to build a coherent, close and authentic brand identity.
As a member of the Management Team, she promotes initiatives that reinforce the sense of belonging to our community and project the school as a reference in innovation, educational quality and personalized support. Her commitment to continuous improvement and her passion for teamwork are key to give visibility to a project that transforms through education and values.
