Global network of makerspaces
The Fab Lab is part of an international network that fosters creativity through digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.
Core values
It operates on principles of equality, cooperation and hands-on experimentation, encouraging collaboration among all users.
Culture of excellence
The lab promotes hard work and continuous improvement, helping students develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
Learning through curiosity
It nurtures curiosity by providing access to emerging technologies and new learning opportunities.
Community resource
While primarily serving 1,200 students, the lab also welcomes professionals and local makers, encouraging knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Students use 3D printers to bring their creative ideas to life, transforming digital designs into physical objects with precision and innovation.
The laser cutter allows students to cut and engrave a variety of materials, enabling detailed and accurate designs for projects and prototypes.
Students operate the milling machine to carve, shape and refine materials, turning their concepts into high-quality, detailed 3D models and parts.
Dye-sublimation technology enables students to transfer vibrant designs onto fabric or materials, creating custom prints with lasting colours and high-quality finishes.
Students utilise vinyl cutting machines to design and produce custom graphics, decals and signage, perfect for creative projects and professional presentations.
The Fab Lab has taught me to believe in my ideas, to work under pressure, and not to give up. Since my first project, I’ve met incredible people and lived unforgettable experiences. It’s a place where creativity is enhanced, ideas come to life, and support is never lacking. Once you enter, you don’t want to leave.
