Alumni Success: Jaime Walter 12th June 2024At El Altillo International School, I was consistently encouraged to venture beyond conventional learning paths, with teachers who enthusiastically supported my personal projects. Moreover, I was provided with other amazing learning opportunities, like collaborating with ISP to organise the international “World Through Math” competition, and participating in the TEDx@ISP, which fostered my international perspective and leadership mindset. The school’s FabLab was also pivotal, igniting my passion for engineering through hands-on projects (I firmly believe the FabLab is the future of education). All these experiences helped me get to study Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, a leading institution in AI. I aim to leverage the expertise I gain here to make a profound, positive global impact, armed with the mindset I gained at El Altillo.
